Family and Primary School Counseling From a Systemic Perspective

摘要

本文以「人在環境」的系統理念為中心,探討家庭與小學輔導的關係。文章首先闡釋學生成長與學校系統、家庭系統、本港及全球環境的關連,並嘗試提供一個理念架構,繼而介紹基本的家庭治療理念和技巧,及其於學校輔導中的運用,以供小學輔導人員和教師參考。筆者最後更指出,小學輔導的成效有賴家庭系統及學校系統的互相配合。

Abstract

Based upon the system approach of "person in context", this paper discusses the relationship between family and counseling in primary schools. The influences of the school system, the family system, the local and global environments on students' development in Hong Kong are first discussed. A conceptual framework is then proposed. Basic theories and techniques of family therapy, as well as their applications in school counseling, are also introduced for the reference of school counseling personnel and teachers. The paper concludes by emphasizing that to effectively implement counseling services in primary schools, the family system and the school system must be well-coordinated.
